REGISTERED DIETITIAN


Bargaining Unit: NON-UNION Health Care Professionals
Status: Full Time TEMPORARY
Department: Nutrition & Food Services
Site: Hogarth Riverview Manor
Shifts: Days


A Registered Dietitian is required to provide direct and consultative services to clients and care providers at the Hogarth Riverview Manor site.


Qualifications:

- Registered Dietitian currently registered in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
- Excellent assessment, counseling and teaching skills
- Demonstrated positive interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
- Long-term care nutritional experience along with knowledge of Long-Term Care Home Act and its regulation would be an asset
- Ability to work in a wide range of settings with individuals of diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve using sound judgment and critical thinking skills within safe limits of client care
- Knowledge and experience with interprofessional team work, and an ability to also work independently
- Knowledge of relevant community agencies and resources
- Demonstrated regular attendance at work
