The Behavioural Sciences Centre (BSC) provides Employee and Family Assistance Programs across Northwestern Ontario; assessment services to insurers (auto, WSIB and Long Term Disability); and corporate services including employer selection assessments for front line positions to executive leadership.

We are seeking an experienced business manager who can assess the current operational model with a focus on revenue opportunities.



- Advanced educational and professional qualifications (preferred Master's level), including a background in human services and post-secondary qualifications in a human services and/or business program
- Several years related experience
- Demonstrated business expertise including marketing, budgeting, and revenue generation


- Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with members of private and public officials, superiors, subordinates, co-workers, clients, and other stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to direct, motivate, evaluate, and recognize staff; proven ability to share skills and knowledge with others
- Proven acumen in business and financial management, with the ability to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency through the management and utilization of human and financial resources
- Ability to think and act strategically, including the ability to conceptualize and implement change strategies
- Ability to identify, understand, and meet/exceed the requirements of internal and external customers
- Strong project/time management, analytical/critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proven conflict management abilities and mediation skills
- Proficiency with office computer equipment and software
- Competent within the meaning of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Ability to travel to various work locations from time to time and provide own reliable transportation with some overnight travel required
