NORTHBEAT INTERN (19-0000661)
Bargaining Unit: Non-Union
Status: Full Time TEMPORARY
Department: Centre for Applied Health Research (CAHR)
Shifts: Days (occasional evening & weekend work may be required
)
Working closely with members of the St. Joseph's Care Group (SJCG) Centre for Applied Health Research (CAHR), the NorthBEAT Intern will be involved in various aspects of research, evaluation, resource development and stakeholder engagement pertaining to the NorthBEAT Collaborative, including: literature searches and reviews; data entry, analysis, and reporting; meeting scheduling, coordination, facilitation, and minute taking; supporting the development of educational materials and resources, including eLearning modules.

Qualifications
:
Education/ Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Education or other related discipline
- Experience in event planning, mental health, and/or youth engagement is an asset

University or college graduate who has graduated within the last three years from an accredited college or university. The candidate must be a graduate of a post-secondary degree or diploma program. The position will be a first full-time employment in the candidate's field of study.
Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to complete detail-oriented work
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- May require travel within the region
