FINANCIAL SERVICES CLERK (20-0000103)

Bargaining Unit: NON-UNION
Status: Full Time
Department: Financial Services

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

- Diploma in business administration or other relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education and directly related work experience

Skills/Abilities:

- Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisor, other SJCG staff, tenants, residents, families, and visitors
- Demonstrate accuracy, organizational skills, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work as a team member as well as independently
- Ability to use independent judgement and maintain confidentiality of records, actions and information
- Must be at a basic skill level in word processing and spreadsheet software
- Must be proficient in data entry
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced office environment

Assets:

- Previous accounting experience in a computerized environment
- Knowledge of / experience with Long-Term Care Homes Act
- Familiarity with Virtuo accounting software and MED e-Care

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

- Must undergo a successful police vulnerable sector check
