Job Description

CLERK TYPIST (20-0000128)

Bargaining Unit: SEIU-CLERICAL HOSPITAL
Status: Part Time TEMPORARY
Department: Diabetes Health
Site: St. Joseph's Heritage
Shifts: Days
Rate of Pay: $21.45 - $25.24 per hour

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
- Two to five years office experience with demonstrated ability to be flexible, organized and self-motivated

Skills/Abilities:
- Established clerical support skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in dealing with the public in a mature and helpful manner
- Thorough knowledge and proficiency in producing documents that are professional in appearance
- Proficient in typing, word processing, and data base software applications
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively
- Ability to work flexible hours

Assets:
- Post secondary clerical training an asset
- Computer and software courses an asset
