Job Description

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (20-R501)

Bargaining Unit: Non-Union Health Care Professionals
Status: Full Time TEMPORARY
Department: TBRH Physical Rehab
Shifts: Days

The successful applicant will work with Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre patients located in the temporary Transitional Care Unit at the Hogarth Riverview Manor site.

Qualifications:

- Registration or eligibility for registration with the College of Occupational Therapists
- Must have experience and/or a demonstrated interest in working with the geriatric client population
- Experience working in an inter-professional environment
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and teaching skills
- Experience with the neurological/ stroke population considered an asset
- Demonstrated regular attendance at work

Assets:

- ADP certificate
- Seating assessment training
