Job Description

CLINICAL SUPPORT CLERK (20-R729)

Bargaining Unit: SEIU CLERICAL - HOSPITAL
Status: Full Time TEMPORARY (0.8 FTE)
Department: Geriatric Assessment and Rehabilitative Care
Site: St. Joseph's Hospital
Shifts: Days
Rate of Pay: $22.32 - $26.27 per hour

Qualifications:
- Diploma from a College Secretarial Program, preferably Health Care Administration
- Clerical experience within a healthcare environment and with StaffRight and Meditech applications an asset
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated regular attendance at work

Candidates may be required to complete standardized skills testing.
